Co-curricular Activity and Character Development
The School conducts various co-curricular activities ranging from dance, drama, debate, declamation to creative writing and sports.
The students are also provided a chance to participate in the cultural and other other activities conducted by other institutions, organizations and the Russian Government on a regular basis.
The School provides an opportunity for the students to sharpen their creative skills through the publication of class magazines, newsletters and school magazine.
There are regular educational tours and excursions for children to visit places like the Botanical Gardens, science laboratories, places of historical importance, museums and other institutes. The School manages Nature Club, Adventure Club, Science Club and Maths Club. Interested students enroll themselves in these clubs and take part in various activities conducted by them.
Scouts and Guides
The Scouts and Guides activities are carried on regularly. Trekking and hiking camps are organized as a part of Scouts and Guides programmes. There are regular physical education classes besides the provision made for indoor sport activities.
Art and Craft:
The School gives due importance to develop the artistic talents of the students. Art education is a compulsory subject till Class X and the students are encouraged to participate in various competitions held in the city. Craft work guidance is made available from Classes I - V.
To imbibe higher social values among students, value education has been made an important part of the curriculum. The School believes that value education is the basic need of the hour.
Through lectures on value education in the morning assembly programme and through class room instructions, every effort is made to mould the students into good citizens and a complete human being - the thinker, the doer and the maker. The concept of oneness of life and international understanding is emphasized through the respective subjects taught in the School.
