Kendriya Vidyalaya, Moscow- Indian International School - was established in 1987 to cater to the educational needs of the children of Embassy personnel, Indian Community, as well as students of all Nations.
Part of a group of 870 schools functioning as an autonomous body named Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, New Delhi under the Ministry of
Human Resource Development, Government of India, the School at Moscow is a self-financed institution under the local management of the Indian Embassy. Today it has a strength of 250 students in Grades I to XII.
The Ambassador of India to the Russian Federation is the Patron to the School. The Deputy Chief of Mission of the Embassy of India functions as the Chairman of the Vidyalaya Management Committee.
The main objective of the School is to impart quality education of an international standard, together with developing the holistic personality of the child, to face the challenging needs of the ever changing society.
Adhering to the modern concept of education, the School lays stress on activity oriented and child-centered teaching, directing its goal towards making learning a pleasure for its students. The School provides opportunity to every child to interact with children from different countries as the school admission is open to students of all nations.
